The idea
TekHāra Labs started from a simple frustration: most free online calculators are buried under ads, throttled behind sign-up walls, or just poorly built. The experience always feels like it was designed around the monetisation model, not the person actually using it.
The goal was simple — fast, clean tools that give you the answer without making you work for it.
The approach
Every calculator here is built to be immediately useful. No loading spinners. No forms to fill before you can see a result. Real-time computation so the answer updates as you type. Shareable URLs so you can send a pre-filled calculation to a colleague.
The design is deliberate: readable, focused, and easy on the eyes. Looking at numbers for a few minutes shouldn't feel like work.
The model
TekHāra Labs is a portfolio brand. The calculator platform is the first product — free, and staying free. At some point tasteful, non-intrusive ads will help keep things running, but that's it.
No paywalls, no premium tiers, no data harvesting. The tools just need to work.
What's next
More calculators are on the way — across finance, health, math, and beyond. The target is 30+ tools that cover the searches people actually make every day.
